Re: The Zendikar Thread
So the number crunchers listed the odds of getting the "good card" insert is about 1: 720 packs. That's not particularly high. That's 1 in 20 boxes.
One thing I did learn from the midnight prerelease I went to. Green/White is really strong. Allies are amazing. Removal is at a premium if you aren't playing black. Almost all the rares are playable. I went 3-1 and got 6 extra packs. I'm happy. Foil Arid Mesa and Foil Mindbreak Trap (sold for $50 before I left the store
).
Yeah, play green white. It's good.

This set looks like pretty good money. There's a couple high priced mythics, the new fetches, the off-hand possibility of treasure.... Seems like one of the best money sets since 10th.

Re: The Zendikar Thread
I didn't do so well at the prerelease (my fist under 7th place), but I did only have 7 mins to build a deck because I was late. In the end it was worth it. I traded for the U/R fetch and the Exile any number of spells trap, all I had to do was get rid of a bunch of crap rares...

Re: The Zendikar Thread
I opened up two boxes today and got 11 fetches, and many repeated rares. It was very odd, whenever I opened up a rare, the next rare of the same color would be the same card. Like, I opened a up a Lotus Cobra, so the next green rare I opened was a Lotus Cobra. Both boxes did this with many cards.
